韓國NEXON近日公佈了楓之谷2(MapleStory 2)最新消息，之前展開的搶先註冊角色數量已達到40萬！並於今日(7月7日)正式展開公測。
楓之谷2捨棄了之前的的橫版視角，而採用了3D俯視角的模式。另外，相對前作的多職業系統，楓之谷2僅保留了當中五個職業。
官方強調楓之谷2將主打自由開放式玩法，玩家將能自己創造內容，大至副本，小至房屋等，打造個人專屬特色！
