EA最近面臨一項關於肖像權侵權的法律訴訟，這家遊戲公司被指控在其出品的體育遊戲中，如《Madden》和《NBA Live》中未經許可使用運動員的名字與肖像。
根據訴訟協議，EA有可能將向這些運動員支付高於6000萬美元的侵權賠償。在所有向EA提出侵權指控的16200名運動員中，大部分將獲得至少1000美元的賠償，而少部分有機會獲得6700美元或者更高。
協議指出，運動員獲得賠償金額的多少取決於一系列的條件，比如運動員的指控是否有效，名字或照片是否出現在遊戲中等等，任何一位提出有效指控的運動員將最少可以獲得47美元的賠償。
法官將在7月16日的一場聽證會上決定最終的賠償金額。
受此影響，EA或許會在《NBA Live》和《Madden》新作中去掉某些球員。
