雖然當時粉絲對此不太接受，但從實際銷量相比，女版雷神自推出後較以往銷量增加約36%，達到150862份。

普遍分析認為，讀者對男性超級英雄已產生視覺疲勞，女版雷神的出現反而激起讀者的好奇心，刺激銷量。除此之外，Marvel 早在2月份就有計劃打造更多女性超級英雄，其A-Force系列相當於女版的復仇者聯盟。
